Explain about spinal decompression (Decompression Traction System)

Spinal decompression therapy applies controlled traction forces to the spine, which can help alleviate back pain, disc issues, and other spinal conditions.

Benefits: The decompression therapy aims to reduce pressure on spinal discs and nerves, promote rehydration of discs, and relieve symptoms associated with nerve compression and spinal disc issues.

We use Triton Traction Table at our clinic

  • Purpose: The Chattanooga Triton series is primarily used for spinal decompression and traction therapy in our clinics.

  • Features:

  1. Treatment Options: The Triton traction table has customizable programs that allow clinicians to set parameters like hold and rest time, which provides targeted therapy tailored to each patient's condition. The DTS system is computer-controlled, which provides precise and consistent traction force throughout the treatment session. It allows a gradual buildup and reduction of traction force, which is less likely to cause muscle spasms and is often more comfortable for patients.

  2. Adjustable Positioning: With sections that adjust in multiple ways, the table allows for precise patient positioning, which can be essential for effective decompression.

  3. Cervical and Lumbar Traction: The Triton offers both cervical (neck) and lumbar (lower back) traction, enabling targeted treatment depending on the patient's needs.

  4. Application: Treat conditions such as herniated and bulging discs, sciatica, Degenerative disc disease, Facet joint syndrome and general lower back and neck pain.
